- The Organs of Ille sur Têt (amazing clay cliffs resembling the pipes of an organ) - Aqualand in St. Cyprien (aquatic parc) - Mont Louis, fortified city with its solar oven, is the station for the little yellow train (Le Petit Train Jaune), an open carriage train that rides up the Têt Valley in breathtaking scenery - Andorra, a very picturesque tax haven, perfect for shopping - The Tour Madeloc and its wonderful views of the sea - Rivesaltes, famous for its sweet wines, its karting circuit (the biggest in Europe), the Chateau de Salses - The Dali Museum in Figueras - Many “prettiest villages in France” such as Mosset, Villefranche, Eus or Castelnou - Collioure, the “pearl” of the Côte Vermeille, which inspired many artists - The wine caves Byrrh in Thuir where the biggest oak tank in the world is exposed - Many walks, ‘Grandes Randonnées’, such as the famous GR 10 or the Caranca Canyons (les Gorges de la Caranca) with its suspension bridges - Fortified cities Villefranche and Prats de Mollo, built by Vauban and protected by their fortress - The Gorges de la Fou, the narrowest in the world - The Canigou Massif, the great landmark of Catalonia, visible across the plains from both the French and Spanish Mediterranean coast, rising to 2784 m.
